Atrium Healthcare is recruiting on behalf of client for an Assistant Service Manager.
In this role, you will work closely with the Service Manager to inspire and motivate the team to provide a high-quality service as well assist in implementing current legislation and CQC requirements. Acting as a role model in the delivery of active support, you will promote and maintain person-centered approaches and inclusive community links.
 
The service supports adults with learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that challenge. Individuals need support to enable them to participate in activities around the home and within the community such as swimming, bowling, visiting parks, home visits and weekly shops.
 
In this role you will be:
 
·Work closely with the Service Manager to inspire and motivate the team to provide a high-quality service as well assist in implementing current legislation and CQC requirements.
·Effectively recruit, develop and manage employees in a fair and consistent manner.
·Work with your Service Manager to reinforce a culture of continuous improvement.
·Day to day support for the people we are supporting.
·Managing the service and the team within and meeting KPI's.
 
About you:
 
·Have experience of supporting people with learning disabilities.
·Have experience of working within Social Care.
·To be able to support people with their personal care.
·Be willing to lead by example and lead the team effectively.
·Good IT skills to use various systems and applications.
·Able to manage own time and workload.
·Be flexible to work across the different shift patterns on a 7-day rota.
·To be able to be part of an on-call rota.

Requirements:
 
·Level 3 diploma or equivalent experience.
·Experience of working with people disadvantaged through illness and disability.
·Full UK driving license.
 
Salary:
 
From £27,154 pa
