Position: Assistant Service Manager - Enfield

Location: Enfield, North London

Salary: £22,500 per annum (plus benefits)


We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Service Manager to join our client in North London.

In this role you will work closely with the Service Manager to inspire and motivate your team to provide a high-quality service. Acting as a role model in the delivery of active support you will promote and maintain person centred approaches and inclusive community links.

Leading and inspiring your team in the implementation of the business plan and other strategic objectives you will ensure that your service develops sustainable, maintaining our commitment to the Avenues mission, vision and values.

Due to the nature of this role it is essential that successful applicants hold a valid driving licence and have access to their own car.

North London is a supported living service providing support to adults with learning disabilities and behaviour that challenge


An experienced social care professional, you will have previous experience of leading a large team and providing support to adults living with mental health needs is essential.

A consummate people manager you will have demonstrable experience of leading a team to success; including performance management, conduct and development issues.

You will be a natural networker, at ease forging relationships with multi-disciplinary professionals, service users and families alike. Flexible and adaptable you will be positive, responsive and reactive to change.

You will share our values of Respect, Excellence, Integrity and Pride and our vision of a fairer, brighter future for everyone. In your experience you will have gained knowledge of the policies and legislation relating to the provision of support.

You will ideally have gained a level 3 diploma in Health and Social Care or possess relevant professional experience.
