Experienced Assistant Sector Manager?

SUEZ Recycling & Recovery UK are looking to recruit an Assistant Sector Manager to join our team in the South and Central region.

Reporting to the Senior Sector Manager, the Assistant Sector Manager will be responsible for managing the internal relationships and processes related to production of dry mixed recycling end grades, driving innovation and profitable growth and creating and developing a culture of 'innovation & entrepreneurship’.

The successful candidate will work closely with the other members of the team and contribute to developing the end markets & Value Chain management of the respective sectors. Ultimately ensuring efficient and compliant implementation of commercial agreements made between SUEZ R&R UK Ltd and external customers.

Key responsibilities of the role include Value Chain co-ordination to drive efficiencies at each step of the Value Chain & deliver profitable growth. The successful candidate will also contribute towards opportunities for new market/products and lead on the end market development.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate understanding of Commodities, Trading, manufacturing and production models.

Working as part of a small, pro-active team the successful candidate must have the ability to translate the requirements of the consumer with the associated manufacturing site.

Experience of working with Value Chain management and the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders is essential; a track record of project implementation is desirable but not essential.

Candidates will require good ability with Excel, Powerpoint & Word and hold a full UK driving license.

This role will involve extensive travel nationally.
