Assistant Scheme Secretary/Trustee Support

London Based

£32-45,000 + Package

An excellent opportunity have arisen to join a leading Trustee company, who offer professional, independent trustee and secretarial services to a wide range of occupational Pension schemes. Based out of their London offices, they are currently looking for a strong candidate with a solid Pensions background as well as previous experience of governance and scheme secretarial work.

Responsible for all aspects of supporting trustees, trustee boards and running their pension schemes, the role will involve:

  • Attending meetings, preparing agenda and papers and supporting clients on specific governance projects
  • Proactive follow up on actions and work in progress
  • Ensuring that Trustees meet legal and compliance requirements through development and maintenance of key scheme governance documents
  • Drafting minutes
  • Advise clients on technical issues as appropriate
  • Supporting project work
  • Involvement in client proposals
  • Drafting communications and marketing material, such as newsletters
  • Training and mentoring junior staff members
  • Cleansing CRM systems

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to display the following skills:

  • Strong Pensions background
  • Previous experience of governance and scheme secretarial work
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
  • Skilled at planning/managing all aspects of secretarial role with little supervision
  • Part qualified PMI/Qualified APMI is desirable though not essential
  • Excellent communication skills
