Face to face sales is a key route to market for First Utility and we are looking for an Assistant Manager to support this channel. As part of the sales team you will be responsible for sales management, with an emphasis on quality and compliance. Being the first point of contact to our external partners and the interface between our partners and First Utility, you will be regarded as a knowledge expert.
This role will be great for you if you enjoy communicating with a variety of people, as it will involve both maintaining established relationships and developing new initiatives. You will work closely with internal functions such as Marketing and product, assisting with the execution of their campaigns.
Some essential skills required for the role
Ability to influence and persuade partners and stakeholders
Prior experience in a sales/ account manager environment
Ability to cope with several projects at any one time, sometimes working to tight deadlines
Some skills that would be nice to have in the role
Experience of energy sector sales ( including compliance, process and audit support )
Previous experience of face to face sales
In depth knowledge of retail energy market
