An opportunity to join a successful international chemical company and work along side a highly experienced regulatory affairs manager. Your role will be to assist in all aspects on managing the compliance of a diverse range of chemical products. Some experience of safety data sheet authoring or management would be preferred but training will be provided in all areas including CLP and REACH.

Duties will involve assisting in all aspects of chemical regulatory affairs - this will include safety data sheet (SDS) management and authoring, product labelling, transport classifications, raw material data management, supplier compliance checks, Poison Centre notifications, REACH compliance, substance monitoring, regulatory support to R&D and manufacturing, and support for environmental management systems. There will be comprehensive on the job training provided to enable you to fulfil / support these functions.

This role would be ideal for people at any stage of their career who are looking to focus on regulatory affairs, legislation and compliance of chemical products. You must have some work experience in a chemical related business; ideally you will have safety data sheet experience (using or compiling) and be looking for a desk based assistant regulatory position. You must be a quick learner, have excellent attention to detail, be well organised and have personable communication skills.
