The client are a national house builder based in Surrey that specialise in the development of large high end housing throughout the South Coast.
They are currently recruiting for a project based Assistant Quantity Surveyor for a large development ongoing for the next 6 years in Southampton. The next phase consists of a 28 storey RC frame apartment block. Candidates must have at least 3 years experience working as a Quantity Surveyor, must have RC frame experience and must be based within an hour of Southampton. Due to the level of experience required the client have stated they would be looking to pay up to £40k + package.
* Preparing tender and contract documents, this will include bills of quantities with the client.
* Performing risk, value management and cost control.
* Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations in the UK
* Preforming Value management and cost control.
* Arranging payments and valuing completed work.
