Job Title: Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Location: Haywards Heath

Salary: £27k - £40k basic plus competitive package

Company & Project: Top 20 main contractor with an unrivalled reputation in Sussex for large Design & Build, new build and refurbishments, have a requirement for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work on a large new build and framework projects in West Sussex/Brighton area. Typical sectors worked on include aviation, educational, commercial and retail projects up to £80m contract value.

Due to a strong period of successful contract awards, they require an additional Assistant Quantity Surveyor to assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor on a a multi million pound framework in Haywards Heath and Brighton.

Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will assist the Senior QS with duties such as take offs, valuations, BQ's, seeing project through from award to final account.

To Apply: Have a minimum of 1-2 years in a Quantity Surveying position, ideally degree educated, (although not essential) but main qualities being hardworking, enthusiastic and willingness to learn.
