We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed psychology graduate to join the Early Intervention Team in Psychosis across St Helen's and Knowsley boroughs
EIP provides our service users with psychological services within adult and child secondary mental health teams as we are tasked in delivering a NICE concordant pathway through care . The post-holders will support qualified clinical psychologist, psychological therapists and senior nurse practitioners in various aspects of the service. The duties will include: providing low level psychological interventions, low level CBT and psychological needs assessments and motivational work . Training will be offered to be able to work as a second practitioner for the delivery of Meridan Behavioural Family Therapy which is the preferred method of family therapy within the trust
The post-holder may also expect to be involved in multi-disciplinary and multi-agency liaison and involvement in other organisational activities. The successful applicant will receive regular supervision, both individual and peer-led, and management support. Continual training and development will be provided, as well as access to regular peer support.
An honours degree in that satisfies the British Psychological Society criteria for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership

This post is subject to an enhanced with children’s and adults barred list Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check. Successful candidates will either have a valid DBS check with the Trust or will be required to pay for the cost of the DBS Disclosure which is £47.50, the cost of which will be deducted from first salary.
