The Mayor of London’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) has partnered with St Andrew’s Healthcare to deliver Community Sentence treatment Requirements as part of a pilot programme specifically for female offenders in South London.

This is a unique opportunity to work as an assistant psychologist embedded in London's probation offices under the guidance and supervision of qualified psychologists from St Andrew's Healthcare.

Within this role you will support and enhance the professional psychological care of clients within the Criminal Justice System (CJS); providing psychological assessment and psychological interventions under the supervision of a qualified professional psychologist, working independently according to a plan agreed with the psychologist and within the overall framework of MOPAC and St Andrew’s policies and procedures.

The role will be located across all South London boroughs. Travel across London is a requirement of the role. Occasional travel to Northampton is required for training, induction and other occasional meetings.

You will facilitate effective communication within MOPAC and other agencies that may include: primary care services, specialist mental health services, social care and third sector services to ensure continuity of care across all services.
