The Greater Glasgow and Clyde Adult Eating Disorder Service is a specialist service, working with adults with moderate to severe Eating Disorder. The service is psychology led and comprised of a multidisciplinary team, including Clinical Psychology, Psychiatry, Nursing, Dietetics and Occupational Therapy. The service provides direct 1:1 and group treatments, as well as offering consultation to other services working with eating disorder both in community and inpatient settings. This role is for 1 year fixed term. You will undertake both clinical and research/ audit activities in line with service requirements, under the supervision of a Clinical Psychologist. An undergraduate degree in Psychology (recognised by the British Psychological Society) at 2: 1 or above is essential. Previous assistant experience and experience of working with eating disorder is a plus, but not mandatory. An interest in Eating Disorders would be advantageous . You should however be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. You should have a desire to progress within a career in Psychology, and the post provides good experience for the Clinical Psychology Doctorate Course .
