Temporary to Permanent Assistant Property Manager - 4 Days Per Week - £28,000 - £30,000 - Commercial Assets

Your new company
On behalf of our client, a non-profit property owner, developer and manager, Hays Property & Surveying are currently recruiting for an Assistant Property Manager on a temporary to permanent basis starting 1st December, 4 days per week. This position will be fixed term for three months with the view to turn permanent after the three month contract is complete. This organization manages 23 acres of space in West London, consisting of a mixed commercial portfolio (office, industrial and retail properties). This role will be working directly with the Associate Director in the overall efficient management of the estate.

Your new role
As the Assistant Property Manager, you will assist predominantly with lettings of commercial space, processing and issuing licenses and other legal documentation. You will obtain comparative evidence in relation to rent reviews, lettings, lease renewals etc. You will manage the schedule of tenancies within the portfolio, keeping all data up to date whilst flagging upcoming deadlines and initiating the lease renewal process in due time. You will monitor rental income and service charges as well as preparing and compiling documentation for events and community engagement.

What you'll need to succeed
As the successful candidate in this role, you will need to have a mix of technical and practical experience as well as legal and commercial awareness, people management and business strategy. Any relevant qualifications in Property (RICS, RTPI, APC) would be considered strongly as an asset. You will be abreast of current legislation and have 2 years' of experience in conveyancing or lettings.
