£17000 - £19000 - BASIC SALARY DOE & IRPM QUALIFICATION SPONSORSHIP + COMMISSION OPPORTUNITIES

MON-FRIDAY 9AM-5PM

Our Norwich based client is looking to recruit someone with strong customer service skills (some property experience would be advantageous but full training will also be given.) The role will offer sponsorship towards an IRPM (The Institute of Residential Property Management) qualification.

This role is an opportunity to work for an established property brand, assisting in the management of a block management portfolio across East Anglia.

Working in our front-line customer contact centre, you would be working alongside experienced property managers, gaining the necessary training required to succeed in the industry. You would also be encouraged to complete your IRPM qualifications.

Working as part of a customer contact centre, dealing with phone calls and email enquiries in responding to freeholders, leaseholders, tenants and contractors in dealing with day to day management enquiries as the managing agent of the site. Managing contractors and tradesman with the ability to organise works and ensure that they are completed on schedule and to an agreed budget. Assist with the organisation of minor and major site works.

Acting as the first point of contact to property owners, dealing with maintenance related enquires, understanding costs, placing works orders and arranging repairs, logging details of insurance claims and liaising with insurers, organising and managing keys and using property management software as a source of information and keeping this up to date so that works are actioned and reported through the Resident Portal system.
Providing administrative support to the Property Managers in maintaining site inspections and site actions whilst keeping accurate records on our database.

You will be liaising with the client finance team in responding to customer queries regarding service charges and accounts queries.

You need to have an interest in property with a good organisational ability and the confidence to deal with customers both face to face and by phone. Experience in a similar industry is beneficial but full training will be provided. You will liaise closely with property managers and our client finance team in delivering a quality property management service to a portfolio of residential properties, that will require working on-site with our customers. Interested individuals are expected to demonstrate diligence, integrity and an ability to organise themselves in order to succeed.

Maintaining administration processes such as insurance claims, invoicing data entry and pre-sales solicitors enquiries.

The ideal candidate will be well-organised, hard-working and have excellent time management and communication skills. It is imperative that workloads are prioritised correctly as some cases may be urgent. Candidates must have a positive attitude and come across in a friendly and helpful manner. You will need to have the ability to build strong relationships with people and have the ability to deal with demanding situations.

IT skills, ability to deal calmly with demanding customers and the ability to construct and produce customer correspondence essential. This job is client-results focused. You must be able to build positive relationships with both internal and external people but in a positive culture and as part of a team.
