Job Title: Assistant Project Manager
Remuneration: Salary circa £28,000-£30,000(dependent on experience)

Due to business growth, we have a vacancy for an Assistant Project Manager. This person will assist the Project Manager with the day to day running of an international working group that involves many international blue chip companies, their suppliers and other technical support companies.
This role will involve working with senior colleagues within the organisation and the member companies. Tasks will include: organisation of meetings, both in the UK and abroad, managing membership administration and enquiries; assisting with protocol development, project work and research; membership communications including newsletters, voting papers, monthly bulletins, surveys and other member information; routine membership administration; dealing with the working group enquiries; answering new business enquiries and much more.
To this end, we are seeking a multi-disciplinary, degree educated candidate with at least 3 years practical experience in project management.
? Organise the twice-yearly member meetings, one in Hong Kong and one in either Europe or America each year (including sub-group meetings for SSG, TSG, TWG and EC as required)
? To organise the auditor meetings once or twice per year in the UK.
? Preparation of all itineraries, agendas and minutes for the above meetings, where appropriate.
? Assistance with travel arrangements as required.
? Ensure approval of all costs prior to expenditure and budget reconciliation
? To answer communications from members within 24 hours.
? Provide support to members as required or refer to appropriate contact.
? To ensure the membership invoices, renewals and associated administration is carried out effectively, in conjunction with the Assistant Accountant & LWG Administrator.
? To prepare membership communication such as quarterly newsletters, monthly updates and other member information as required.

? Multi-disciplinary experience of organisational processes and functions
? Project Management experience
? An understanding of membership organisations and promotional activities
? An understanding of website content management
? High computer literacy to include above average knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher
? A highly developed knowledge of customer care and communication
? Experience of Goldmine email system (training will be given)
? Knowledge of mailing systems and survey programmes such as Doodle, SmartSurvey, GoToMeeting, etc
? Knowledge of Adobe InDesign and PhotoShop
