Assistant Project Manager - Construction

A small property consultancy has a requirement for an Assistant Project Manager to join the team, and to gain real responsibility from day one in managing fit-out schemes within the commercial, residential & industrial sectors across the UK. The business works closely with clients to ensure they minimise risk through all stages of the scheme, from working with designers & architects to ensure the clients requirements are properly realized, to managing contractors on-site to ensure the vision is made reality.

About the Role?

You will work closely with the Director, who is very much hands-on, who can give you support and is someone you can truly learn from and develop under. The individual is MRICS and can assist with your development through your APC diary to become Chartered. The role is based in West-Yorkshire, with schemes running across the UK. Typically, you will manage several schemes at any one time, and would be suitable for someone who enjoys working to tight-deadlines and wants to gain a good overview of the construction process as opposed to a limited area. Over time, you will take onboard more complex, and higher value schemes, and assist the Director in building the business.

The position would be great for someone who is entrepreneurial and is keen on developing their career quickly and get to get involved in several areas of the construction process and develop the business.
