Main Responsibilities:

· Coordinate production workflow using SAP software

· Assist in the planning and prioritising of production to ensure maximum efficiency and minimum delay

· Prepare and distribute production paperwork and documents

· Update performance reports

· Keep the planning department organised and tidy

· Document archiving

· Work closely with sales and production to ensure customer demands are met

· Cover in the absence of the planner

· Raise purchase orders

· Run and analyse reports to:

Knowledge and Experience:

Essential:

· Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office) - minimum intermediate level in Excel

· Excellent communication skills

· Strong organisational and problem solving skills

· Able to work to deadlines, prioritise

· Attention to detail/accurate

· Logical/methodical thinker

· Experience of working in a manufacturing environment

Desirable:

· MRP knowledge and experience (SAP)

· Lean manufacturing experience

· Strong mathematical/statistics knowledge
