Job Description

The main purpose of this role is to work along side the Branch Manager, assisting with all aspects of the day to day management of the branch and the team.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Branch administration
  • Controlling stock
  • Updating merchandise
  • General warehousing
  • Serving customers on the trade counter and answering the phone
  • Supporting the management of the team through training and development
  • Winning new business through marketing
  • Maintaining strong customer relationships

Person Specification

The successful candidate will have the following experience and attributes:


  • Strong knowledge of plumbing and heating products
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Computer literate as well as knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Experience of leading a team
