Our client owns and manages a tourist destination with a hotel, bar, restaurant, gift shop and museum. Under new ownership its annual turnover has more than doubled in the last four years and they have plans to add a function suite and spa.
Due to their continued growth and success they now require an Assistant Manager to work directly with the General Manager and Owner to assist in most aspects of running this busy tourist destination.
Assistant Manager profile:
- The successful applicant will be either an experienced hotel manager for a minimum of 5 years or a high flying, energetic, assistant manager with a busy hotel background for a minimum of 3 years and seeking promotion.
- Bright, lively, intelligent and intuitive with initiative plus good staff management skills are essential.
- Comfortable working typically 45 hours a week on a varying rota but with 2 days off most weeks.
- Must also be comfortable not being in total charge as GM and/or owner will be actively present most of the time.
Salary £24 to £28k dependant on experience
Ideally all applicants will live within commuting distance. Alternatively, shared staff house accommodation could be available
