This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced bubbly character that has Bar /Pub /Restaurant Supervisory or managerial experience within a high quality, busy food and beverage outlet and would thrive in a quality Pub and restaurant environment

As an Assistant manager must be a strong, confident character with a proven track record in achieving excellent results .
A candidate with good knowledge of Whiskies, wines and Ales would be very advantageous

This Pub is very popular for diners and drinkers which serve a vast array of quality ales and wines. These are busy venues offering quality locally sourced high standard food , serving up to 100 covers daily

For this Assistant manager role it is essential that you have experience working and Supervising/ managing in a high standard fresh food Pub or restaurant.

As Assistant manager you are expected to be well presented, friendly, enthusiastic and willing to give 100% and be a very’ hands on’ in this small property

As Assistant manager you will work closely with the General Manager and help lead a team of up to 10.
Strong leadership and organisational skills are essential

As Assistant manager duties will also include running shifts, staffing, stock control and ordering , cellar maintenance , cashing up .

You are also required to promote and maintain the reputation of the establishment by ensuring and providing excellent customer care and service.

This Assistant Manager role Is a full time, permanent role and is based in a great location in Central York

The successful applicant for this Assistant manager role will receive a salary of up to £25,000 dependent on experience .
