The Assistant Management Accountant will provide the necessary control and support to the product line business managers and sales teams to help drive sound commercial decisions, thereby maximising profitability and reducing business risk. This is a permanent role based in Bath

Description

The Assistant Management Accountant will have specific responsibility for;

  • Supporting the Financial Controller and Finance Manager in managing the workload of junior finance staff

  • Overseeing purchase and sales ledger transactions completed by the team and investigating any queries

  • Assisting in the production of monthly management accounts

  • Assist the finance manager with forecasting and budgeting

  • Fixed assets

Profile

The successful candidate will be studying towards a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA or CIMA) and will have a proven track record in a similar role.
