We are looking to recruit an assistant management accountant to join the small finance team in the UK office of a private company operating from a rural location near Lewes. Investments include property interests with current focus on prime residential property.
The role is permanent but hours are flexible depending on experience. It may appeal to someone wanting to work the equivalent of three days per week.
Duties will include:
Preparation of quarterly management accounts for internal review
- Statutory Accounts
Prepare for internal review and for audit
Logging of purchase invoices
Review of invoices for accuracy and completeness
Posting invoices to accounting system
Raise and recording of sales invoices
Posting and recording of bank receipts
Prepare payment packs
- Posting entries and reconciling account
Prepare Inter-company Loan reconciliation
Maintain Inter-company Loan interest schedules
Prepare various invoice logs and registers
Experience and skills required
Familiar with Sage and good Excel skills
Previous experience of preparing management accounts
Good time management adopting a flexible approach to work
Organised, methodical and able to communicate to people within and outside the finance team
Pays attention to accuracy and quality of work
