Temporary Assistant Management Accountant role based in St. James's
Your new company
This property development company own and manage multiple shopping centres across the country. They have been operational for over 30 years and are constantly expanding their reach - with a busy year up ahead, they are looking to expand the business and in turn grow the finance team.
Your new role
This role will support the management accountant by assisting with the production of the balance sheet and profit and loss accounts, responsibility for the maintenance of purchase and sales ledgers, daily reconciliations, and some involvement with the production of budgets and forecasts. The role will be varied, and will involve some other ad hoc tasks as and when is necessary.
The role is expected to last 4 months, with the potential to extend depending on the workload.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have previous experience in a similar role that involves all of the above duties. It is also essential for this role that you have strong Excel skills including understanding of v-lookups and pivot tables, and are a motivated self-starter who can perform to a high standard with little supervision.
