BCA operates the largest used-vehicle marketplace in the UK and Europe operating in 10 countries, 60 different locations, selling 1.3 million vehicles per annum. BCA touches over 3.5m vehicles a year as it provides services along the vehicle life cycle from port to dealerships for new vehicles to refurbishment and logistics for used vehicles and the core re-marketing and auction operations.

Main purpose of job:
To efficiently and effectively deliver the UK’s financial reporting and transaction processing requirements, in line with the Groups’ financial objectives.
- UK accounting: GL and Balance sheet control accounts - manage all aspects of both the controls, Input and reporting requirements particularly for the following activities:
- Prepayments and accruals
- Stock reconciliations and reporting
- Assist with month end reporting to the group team
- Provide audit information while liaising with auditors as required for a clean audit.
- Variance analysis and reporting on key areas of the accounts.
- Engagement with branch network and corporate support functions.
- Any other duties as assigned
Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm

University degree preferable
Part qualified to finalist accounting qualifications or equivalent
Experience in managing the GL is essential
Computer literate with finance packages, with Microsoft NAV being an advantage.
Advanced level of knowledge with MS Excel.
Experience of working with all management levels.
