Due to an internal service redesign, we are now looking to recruit a number of Assistant Housing Officers to work in Northfield on an temporary, ongoing basis. Your new role
As an Assistant Housing Officer, you will be working with the Housing Management team based in Northfield covering various parts of the city conducting tenancy visits to conduct surveys of the tenants and property, but to also visit properties relating to anti-social behaviour. In addition to the antisocial behaviour, you will also be required to investigate abandoned properties and unlawful occupancy. This information will then be relayed back o the senior Housing Officers and support staff, whilst also logging the information through the internal IT system.
What you'll need to succeed
As an experienced Assistant Housing Officer, you will have had experience of visiting properties and an understanding of temporary accommodation and anti-social behaviour. You will also need access to your own vehicle as travel is an essential part of the role.
