Assistant Home Manager

REED Care and Support are working with a Local Care Home to find an Assistant Manager.

The Role is within a residential home providing care for individuals that have learning difficulties and other complex needs. Service users are aged between 18 – 65. We space for up to 16 People this is an expanding service that is undergoing some investment to provide a bigger service.

In the role you would be supporting the Registered Manager and be able to deputise in the registered manager. The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting and maintaining the quality standards of the company, ensuring standards are meet to meet CQC guidelines, take responsibility for the day to day running of the home, and ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to.

The right person for this role will already hold their level 3 in social care or and suitable equivalent qualification. They will be able to show a proven track record of management/ supervisory experience and be able to show good leadership skills.

We are looking for somebody who is able to communicate well with subordinates and managers work well in a team and be able to motivate staff to achieve the best results.
As this is a care role all applicants will need to undergo a satisfactory DBS check.
