Assistant General Manager - An exciting & rare opportunity for a high profile Assistant General Manager position in Berkshire
Very trendy and "now", fast growing group with great locations serving up award winning fresh food in a smart, stylish restaurant/bar environment.
The Role - Assistant General Manager:
We are looking for a passionate and successful Assistant General Manager who understands the importance of excellent service standards and quality fresh food. All the sites have a strong food business and the importance of quality and consistency cannot be underestimated. Each location they have also has a market leading food offer as well as a trendy bars with cocktails. The key responsibilities are to maintain these standards, generate sales and deliver profit targets by leading, inspiring and developing your team to help us achieve our goals. You will need a good strong background in food and wet sales from an independent background or a large group. You are passionate about our food and service, delivering excellent experiences to every customer, putting the customer first in all you do and able to prove that you are delighting our customers. This is a premium site with high volume and a fast pace. You must have an eye for detail and the ability to drive consistent service standards. You can demonstrate achievement in driving businesses forward in a balanced way with measurable excellent results. You will work closely with Head Chef, Group Reservations & Events, Head Bartender and to the Ops Manager to ensure service standards and bookings continue to be driven forward.
Key Skills - Assistant General Manager
- A confident, self-motivated, driven and professional person
- Will be personally motivated to succeed with great attention to detail
- Will be well organised, excel at organising others and love working to deadlines
- Needs prior experience in pulling a team together and skill recruiting FOH staff
- Will have a strong command of stocktake and analysis, wage control, proven experience working with kitchen teams and all aspects of Food Safety, Health and Safety accountability
- Full financial accountability
You must come from a similar background where you are familiar with fresh food, quality service and the gastro pub environment. Interested in hearing from successful and hard working Managers who can cope with high volume
