A unique opportunity has arisen within an organisation heavily involved with central government and public services for an Assistant Financial Director, initially on a 6 month contract. Unique in the structure and dynamics of what this business does and how they operate.
It is far from your average Financial Director/Assistant Financial Director role.
You will be working closely alongside the Financial Director and will be responsible for leading and managing a finance team of 15, in achieving company goals.
Other than the expected expertise and qualifications in being a Financial Director, it is essential that you would have had experience in managing a fairly large finance team and be prepared to get ‘hands on’ as and when required.
We’re not too picky with regards to previous industry experience, however someone who has had previous experience within public sector or central government would be ideal.
Moreover than anything you would need to demonstrate good business acumen, can eloquently communicate to senior stake holders and really be looking for a challenge!
This is not your average Finance role, it’s most definitely not for everyone, but for the right one, it would be difficult to find a role better than this!
