Assistant Finance Manager
A well-established company with an annual turnover of approx £14m is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team. You will report directly to the FC and you will be responsible for the financial operations for the main business. This role will involve documenting and managing financial planning and analysis.
Important: Based on the location of the job, you must drive a car/bike
Key Duties:
- Financial Reporting
- Financial Analysis
- Internal Controls
- Accounts Payable/Receivable
- Bank Reconciliations
- Compliance
- Systems Management
- Ad Hoc Projects
Key Skills:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar finance role, preferably within a medium-sized enterprise.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, Xero and Microsoft Excel. Strong understanding of financial reporting and budgeting. Experience with Dext and Approval Max desirable.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate with colleagues across different departments.
- Organizational Skills: Strong time management and organizational abilities, capable of handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
