As an Assistant Design Manager, you’ll be assisting with design information and design philosophy for new build schemes. Reviewing the technical aspects of details put forward by architects and engineers and co-ordinating changes with the design team (including structural engineers, architects and external subcontractors) ensuring best value.
Based from offices in North Wales, with travel to site when required you’ll be responsible for registering drawings on the Group’s information system, approving drawings, and producing drawings via the AutoCAD drawing system. You will also be involved in attending design team meetings on site to co-ordinate the building process when required.
You will be someone who would like a career in Design Management who has a passion to succeed. The ideal candidate will have experience of the Design Management process, knowledge of Building Regulations with a basic knowledge of AutoCAD drawing systems. Due the nature of this role, you’ll need strong communication, negotiation and time management skills.
