Interim Assistant Commercial Manager, Central Government, 3 Months, Central London, Inside IR35

You will be joining one of our largest central government clients as an Assistant Commercial Manager. This role will be based in central London for a 3 month period. The role will fall inside IR35 and so you must be paid through an umbrella company or as PAYE.
Your new role
Within this role you will be responsible for supporting and undertaking commercial activities within the business services team who procure across marketing, events and stationary to name a few. You will be delivering a number of procurement activities including market analysis, engaging with stakeholders as well as pre-qualifying and tendering and negotiating for a number of contracts. There may also be some element of contract management.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this job you must have worked within the public sector and have up to date knowledge and experience of leading a full procurement cycle at OJEU level. You will have excellent stakeholder engagement skills and be able to deal with challenging situations. Team fit is very important and you will need to have a can do and positive attitude. CIPS is desirable along with IT systems experience such as SAP and Pro Contract.
