Our client, a large independent firm of Chartered Accountants, are looking for an Assistant Client Manager to join their team in Southampton.

The role will involve you managing your own mixed portfolio of clients with turnovers ranging from 60K to £16M. You will mainly be dealing with the accounts and management accounts for these clients, ensuring that the work is carried out within agreed budgets and deadlines. You will maintain a good client relationship at all times, providing them with updates on a regular basis.

You will also supervise a team of junior staff, reviewing their work and assisting with their training and development where necessary.

A knowledge of accounting packages such as IRIS, CCH, Sage and Xero would also be an advantage.

You will ideally hold a professional qualification such as ACCA/ACA, and you will have previous experience of client management within practice.
