Assistant Engineer needed for a 12 month job working for the local Council
Your new company
Your job will be working for the local council as an assistant highways engineer looking after the improvement of the network of highways within the council's jurisdiction.
Your new role
Your new role as an assistant engineer will include dealing with resurfacing schemes and surface pressing processes. You must also have experience in the micro asphalt procedure and knowledge about footway slurry seals. These experiences are essential, as they are the projects in which you will be most likely involved with.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role it is vital that you have highway maintenance experience. Be able to deal use Microsoft programmes. As well be have a full driving licence, as you will need to travel to destinations other than your main base. But most importantly have a qualification in civil engineering.
