Your new company
You will be working for a national charity supporting children and young adults with complex learning disabilities and additional communication needs. They provide care and education for children and young people between 3 and 25 years of age at their on site school and college and through short breaks services
Your new role
Reporting to the Registered Manager, the main responsibility of the role is to support in the effective and efficient management of the homes and deputise in their absence, taking responsibility for the management of the service, including the staff team, practice, budget, resources and the welfare of the children and young people
What you'll need to succeed
You will have an extensive knowledge and experience of working with children and young people with learning disabilities and complex needs in a residential setting as well as previous management experience in a care setting. You will have a sound knowledge of OFSTED quality standard in children's homes and hold either NVQ Level 4/5 in Care, Leadership and Management or equivalent.

You will be paid a competitive salary as well as excellent career opportunities. Hours of work are 37.5 per week on a shift rota and you will need to be able to offer full flexibility over 7 days. You will be given 25 days holiday per year, rising to 30 after 5 years service. There is a pension scheme, on site gym and good career development opportunities.
