Assistant Care Co-ordinator

We are a leading London home care provider, delivering person-centred support in the community which helps adults lead full and independent lives in their own homes.

They currently require a highly skilled, professional individual to ensure the continual deliverance of an effective care service for their new and existing clients.

The role is office based with regular telephone contact with care staff and clients.

Job Title: Assistant Care Co-ordinator
Location: London Area, London
Salary: £9.15 per Hour

Hours: Full time - 40 hours per week

The position will be based either in our office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Chase missed calls
• Coordinate rotas
• Continuity of care staff
• Appropriate travel time
• Appropriate rest breaks
• Work closely with the Field Supervisor and liaise with clients and carers to ensure care is delivered appropriate to the client’s needs
• Monitor and appraise team of carers to ensure timeliness and overall quality
• Report concerns to the Registered Manager
• Communicate effectively with social services and other health professionals

Ideal candidate:

• Preferably with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a busy office environment. Someone who is an excellent communicator and uses their own initiative.
• Can work well under pressure, is hardworking, a team player and a real go getter.
• Should have obtained an NVQ L3 in Health and Social Care (Desirable but not essential).
• Must be able to work at a fast pace and work well under time pressure.
