The Assistant Buyer located in Hertfordshire will report into the Head of Procurement and will provide purchasing and general support to the Procurement group. Other responsibilities will include pacing purchase orders for materials and services, expediting purchase orders, updating the ERP system, managing delivery schedules, processing Non-Conformance reports, maintaining relationships with suppliers, along with processing all order acknowledgements, processing credit card purchases and reporting on key supplier information and ensuring purchasing records are maintained and in good order.
The Assistant Buyer, Hertfordshire will have experience working with ERP systems and working in an engineering/ manufacturing environment. Negotiation skills would be an advantage and you must be computer literate.
