One of my well established and nationally  renowned Retail clients is looking for an Assistant Buyer to join their busy & demanding team initially for a 12 month FTC to cover maternity..this could lead to a permenent roel and open up new opportunites - great exposure into online fashion and merchandising.

The role is initially home working after full training. But will migrate back into the amazing modern offices in Bradford in September 2 days a week.

This opportunity would ideally suit someone that is interested in Buying, loves working in a fast paced fun environment,  has strong Microsoft Excel skills for stock reporting, has the confidence to liaise effectively with suppliers and loves working under pressure and managing your own workload.

A brilliant entry level opportunity supporting 2 Senior buyers liaising with 20  suppliers within Fragrance &Jewellery – managing all of the purchase administration for the teams.

What an amazing insight into the industry to build a substantial career & experience within a superb brand and retailer!

Full training is offered I just need a few skills from you to be able to get you in front  of the teams for immediate interviews.

** Ideally you will have some experience processing purchase orders and liaising at any level with suppliers. **

A keen interest in buying with a super positive attitude.

Attention to detail is key to the success of this role and of course your beaming personality.

You will assist the Senior Buyers daily  - managing the end-to-end procurement process from initial stock enquiry, raising the PO, tracking the order progress to ensure delivery deadlines are met, liaising with suppliers, through to receiving the invoice.

Chase any overdue stock orders and delays with suppliers will need you to have the confidence to pick up the phone if you need to and finalise delivery dates keeping the buyers up to date with the process.

Ideally you will be already carrying out purchasing related activities as part of your current role. Or recently graduated with a supply chain related degree.

The company are offering full training support into buying which is a super benefit and a starting salary of  £20,000.

I am looking for a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
