An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client is currently looking for a Global Assistant Brand Manager - TRESemmé based at a prestigious facility in Blackfriars, London. This is a full time temporary role for a period of 12 months starting ASAP, working a 36.25 hour week, paying up to £33,000 pro rata, depending on experience.

Background:

Main Job Purpose & Opportunity:
The position offers plenty of scope for independent leadership and clearly ownable deliverables. You will be able to develop an in-depth understanding for the brand and the category and will have regular visibility with Director and Vice President. Key projects are varied and would include - building global brand strategy, driving brand growth through new mixes and rolling out existing mixes in global markets.

What do we need from you?
You will need to be a strong communicator and a leader, able to work closely with different functions (CMI, Supply Chain, R&D, Finance, Packaging & Creative agencies), able to motivate a team and work together to deliver the relaunch plans.

Key Accountabilities:
* As a WL1 in the team, you will play a key supporting role to the Global Brand Manager & Director, independently managing some of the project work-streams.
* Lead and motivate internal brand, cross-functional teams and external agencies to deliver an outstanding breakthrough product mix.
* Lead the project network to deliver work to agreed milestones.
* Develop packaging, language & communications working closely with CMI, R&D and creative agencies to ensure bulletproof implementation perfectly aligned to the concept & brand BCI.
* Work closely with local teams to ensure alignment with local market requirements.
* Manage the budget and find efficiencies working closely with finance & procurement.
* Key stakeholder management in the development of new brand communications across all media and development of TV, Print, KV & POS.

Skills/ Experience/ Qualifications:
* A senior assistant brand manager looking for a challenging role.
* Ability to juggle multiple project work-streams across markets.
* Proven experience in project and timeline management on a major brand.
* Experience in managing networks to launch projects on time.
* Clear demonstration of successful team leadership (agencies & across functions).
* Interest in personal care, ideally a passion for Hair, and an eye for beauty & aesthetic.
* Strong business acumen, analytical thinking & rigour.
