Due to a re-structuring of the Company and move to new premises, we require an enthusiastic and committed individual to join the small, friendly team, as an assistant administrator in our Hereford City centre office.
As a well established, busy company of Chartered Surveyors, dealing with a varied workload of residential and commercial work in and around Herefordshire, the successful candidate will need to be motivated to work on a wide range of duties, supporting the current Administrator and Surveying Staff. Duties will include telephone work, Client liaison, dealing with other property professionals, diary management, audio typing, compilation of reports and documents, day to day office duties and assistance with banking and invoicing.
This is an ideal opportunity to gain all-round administration skills and experience in a relaxed, varied and interesting work environment.
Ideally the successful candidate would have the following key skills:
- Friendly, polite, positive manner
- Confident telephone manner
- Good organisational skills
- Experience of busy office workloads and tight deadlines
- Audio typing experience
- An attention to detail in preparation of documentation
- Good knowledge of standard Microsoft Office software
- Ability to access and use other surveying and property related software
- Knowledge of basic business finance
This is a part-time position initially, ideally between 1pm and 5pm, Monday to Friday (20 hrs a week - can be negotiated), however there is every opportunity to increase to a full time role.
Excellent working environment in City Centre offices.
Relevant training will be provided if necessary.
Previous experience within an Estate Agency, Solicitors or similar would be a great advantage.
