We are working with a Harrow, Greater London based firm of Chartered Accountants who are looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join their team

The role:

The role will mainly focus on
- Preparation of year end accounts
- Corporation Tax computation
- Vat returns
- Bookkeeping

The client base ranges from some small sole traders through to Medium sized companies . Main scope of the work will be preparing their company's year end accounts from records provided by the client.

The candidate should be able to prepare accounts to Trial Balance and undertake Balance Sheet reconciliations such as bank, PAYE and VAT competently.

The firm uses Iris for our accounts production and corporation tax returns and regularly need to use Sage, Quickbooks and Xero for our clients, so experience in these would be useful, though not essential. Any additional training would be provided.

Requirements:
- AAT qualified or equivalent
- good communication skills
- previous experience in similar capacity is crucial
