We're looking to speak to experienced Assistant Accountant/ Accounts Assistants who are looking for work in Grimsby. We are pleased to be recruiting for this reputable, fast growing SME client, where you will become part of a small enthusiastic and passionate team reporting into the Accounts Manager.
It is vital that you have a broad understanding of accounts accompanied by experience of working within a busy finance function. You will be able to hit the ground running with the duties below:
Processing and making payments for purchase ledger invoices
Dealing with queries and investigating discrepancies
Daily cash management, banking, cashflow and cash allocation
Bank reconciliations; stock reconciliations and accounting; assisting with credit control
Prepare weekly KPI's including productivity, cost and sales analysis; assisting with month end accounts and with Ad-hoc projects
It is important that you are a personable individual who is a good team player with ability to build and maintain both colleague and client relations at pace. The ideal candidate will be qualified or actively studying later stages AAT, and most importantly have relevant all round accounts experience within the manufacturing sector and have good IT literacy.
