Assistant Accountant

Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting an Assistant Accountant for a 9 month contract with the possibility of extension, to work within a Charity setting in Sheffield.

The role
*Contribute to monthly and year end accounts production.
*Preparing accounts from scratch to trial balance.
*Cashbook management.
*Raise journals.
*Fixed Asset.
*Account reconciliations.
*Ensure accurate cost and forecasting models.
*Assist in the budget setting process.
*Purchase and Sales Ledger.
*Bacs payments.

About you
*Experience working with stat accounts.
*3 years experience in an Assistant Accountant role.
*Experience working directly with clients and HMRC.

Experience working within an charity organisation would be ideal but not essential.
