It’s a dynamic environment in which to gain invaluable career experience.
Preparing financial accounting journals and bank reconciliations across various business lines, you’ll set out to be accurate and timely in everything you do. That will include investigating and resolving any differences found, supporting month-end activities and producing weekly KPI reporting. You’ll also ensure we comply with our regulatory obligations, support your colleagues as needed and identify opportunities for process improvement wherever possible.
From experience in a similar role or environment, you’ll have a good working knowledge of Journals and Bank Reconciliations. And while an accounting qualification or specific financial services experience would be an advantage, intermediate or advanced Excel skills are essential. You’ll also have excellent analytical and strong communication skills, understand the importance of process and are always vigilant for opportunities to improve. Just as important is the ability to work as an effective team member, proactively supporting colleagues when required and developing good working relationships across the business.
