This excellent Assistant Accountant role is working to support one of our clients leading dealerships based from a head office accountancy function. This role will be a full start to finish position from raising invoices to chasing payments.

This Assistant Accountant oppourtunity will include;
*The Management Accountant aspect of this position will be assisting 4 management accountant in the production of month end accounts, you will be responsible for reconciliations and adhoc tasks.
*The Sales Ledger part of the role will involve working with none finance managers within the company to ensure the correct amounts are accounted for and billed efficiently, you will manage relationships betweencolleagues overseas to ensure key accounts SLA's are met.
*The Purchase Ledger duties will include liaising, with the suppliers of goods and services provided. You'll also be responsible for the processing of purchase invoices within the team, as well as ensuring that they are completed both accurately and on time.
*The Reporting responsibilities will include WIP reporting and a large amount of data manipulation using excel, you will support the senior accountants with any financial reports as part of this role.
*Ideally possessing experience gained within an accounts department and in the areas of both Purchase and Sales Ledger or with an interest in developing a career within accountancy, you will be highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
This role will require the following skills;
*Experience in a sales ledger / credit control role
*Motor trade experience would offer a huge advantage and Kerridge experience would be preferred
*Excellent attitude and commitment to work
*Strong telephone and customer service skills
*Accountancy software and Microsoft experience
This Assistant Accountant role will offer;
*Excellent starting salary of £18,000 - 25,000 this salary is based in experience and training needs
