Assistant Accountant (leisure industry) FTSE 100 business, Richmond. £22-25k plus study

A FTSE 100 listed business in South West London are seeking an Assistant Accountant (12 month fixed term contract) to join their finance function. With over 3000 employees globally, this business are going from strength to strength. The role has come about due to a secondment into another team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive and vibrant company with plenty of opportunities to learn in a commercial environment.
Your new role
Working closely with a Financial Controller, your role will include, but will not be limited to: preparing month end journals, reviewing P&L for multiple revenue streams, reviewing costs and carrying out overhead variance analysis, setting up pricing information on Oracle, inputting purchase invoices and allocating costs to correct GL, managing and reconciling various business credit cards and expenses processing.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have at least 12 months of recent experience in a finance function (paid, voluntary or an internship) and a strong academic record, including good A levels (CCC and above) and a 2:2 or higher degree classification. You will be able to demonstrate good communication skills, a positive organised approach and a desire to increase your knowledge of accounting.
What you'll get in return
In return you'll receive an annual salary of £22-28k plus study support and benefits. Parking is available on site and the organisation have good national rail and underground links.
