Assistant Accountant - North Norwich

Atkinson Moss are delighted to be working with an expanding Group entity based on the north side of Norwich. This organisation has seen a significant growth over the last 3 years which has created a new opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join the team.

The Company is locally renowned for offering a bespoke service and putting the values of the customer first. Operating in a small team, key duties will include:

• Bank reconciliations
• Cash book postings
• Assist with month end journals
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations
• Intercompany cost reconciliations
• Payment processing
• Cost report processing via Sage
• Preparation of VAT and other industry specific returns
• Online banking - CHAPS/BACS payment
• Processing Expenses
• PAYE/Payroll

Candidates will experience of working in a varied role in a fast paced environment, with specific importance placed on experience in Sage accounting packages and project based accounting principles.

You will ideally be AAT qualified or part qualified ACCA/CIMA. Candidates should also have strong IT skills, good organisation, good numeracy and good attention to detail.
