Successful and growing group of services businesses based in SE1 has a requirement for an all-round accountant at Part Qualified level. This role reports to a supportive Finance Manager and will provide her with general accounting support for Sales Ledger (billing, allocating incoming receipts, credit control), Purchase Ledger (payment runs, reconciliations, dealing with supplier queries), bank control and reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliations and assisting with the preparation of Management Accounts and VAT returns. We seek a versatile and capable person with several years' experience, ideally within an SME business, a 'can do' attitude and the ability to learn new systems quickly. You will be able to work mainly from home but will occasionally be needed in the office, which is a short walk from Wateloo mainline station. Strong Excel skills are important and previous use of Sage software would be helpful, though not essential. If the contract goes well there is a strong possibility this role will become permanent.
