Assistance Co-ordinator, Kings Hill

Barker Munro is pleased to be able to offer this exciting opportunity in the Kent Insurance assistance market for a Medical Assistance Co-ordinator.

This role will see you provide medical emergency and repatriation services to travellers worldwide who encounter health issues while abroad. Working on a revolving 4 day on 4 day off 12 hour week shift pattern (including some nights, weekends and public holidays), the co-ordinator’s role is to handle requests for assistance, obtaining case details and liaising with the in-house medical team and insurers to identify and provide the appropriate response to emergencies.

To be considered for Emergency Assistance Co-ordinator you will have fluency in at least one European language with preference given to Greek, Portuguese, French, German, Turkish or Arabic (North African). You will have excellent verbal & written communication skills in English and ideally have a good level of UK education.

Also, you will have a sustainable background in a customer service role and experience of working shift patterns which include weekends, bank holidays and/or nights. Some experience of working from home and be motivated an advantage.
