Our client is a high performing charity providing a range of services, primarily to people with drug and alcohol problems across Devon and Dorset. They work with specialist partners from all sectors and promotes a system-based, value-driven approach to supporting people with complex lives.
The below role will be based in our client's Devon community service Together Drug & Alcohol is provided by a partnership of Devon Doctors, Devon Partnership NHS Trust and our client, supported by the Devon Together Alliance. THeir mission is: To open doors for people affected by substance misuse so they can improve their lives and those of their families and communities.
Mayday Trust Asset Coach x2 (Personal Transition Service)

Hours: Full Time 35 hrs
Salary: £18,500 to £23,000 per annum depending on experience
Contract: 3 Year Fixed Term
The Personal Transition Service (PTS) in Partnership with Mayday Trust specialises in supporting individuals through difficult life transitions, such as homelessness, leaving prison, leaving care or institutions, with no support network or connections.
This role is about building relationships, and purpose, to inspire and give strength to others, to support in finding solutions rather than focusing on problems.
As an Asset Coach you will be working 1-1 with individuals, providing coaching on how to transition back into the community and facilitate their individual development on this. You will also assist and manage volunteers in supporting people to build up new positive relationships that will then provide opportunities for them to develop their talents and networks within their local community.
They are looking for candidates who will have a positive and influential attitude and be passionate about empowering people to reach their potential.
