Assessor/Tutor - Youth Work

Posted 25 January by Mitre Group

Mitre Group provides a wide range of accredited qualifications nationally. With our ever-increasing demand for apprenticeships we are looking to recruit an associate tutor/assessor to teach and assess apprenticeships in Youth Work Level 3.

The role will be home based and you will work in and around the South East. Programmes will predominantly take place within professional sports clubs and community schemes. An affinity with sport would be beneficial and the ability to build a positive rapport with our clients and learners is fundamental.

The ideal candidate will have a background in Youth Work and will have a minimum L3 Education and Training qualification (or equivalent) and/or work-based assessor qualification and have exceptional organisational skills and be able to work flexibly whilst maintaining strict time-frames. They will ideally have experience of delivering apprenticeships and/or NVQs or other accredited qualifications.

The general model of delivery is via a monthly workshop followed by a 1:1 tutorial, but this may vary depending on the clients' needs.
