Salary: £19,258- £27,200 per annum + 10% London Weighting Allowance
We are seeking to appoint highly motivated, dynamic individuals to the post of Assessor in Health and Social Care.
This is a permanent, full-time post. As well as a competitive salary, the College offers a pension scheme and a generous annual holiday entitlement. Starting salary will depend upon an individual’s qualifications and experience.
The successful applicant will be responsible for assessing candidates in the London area and will only be required to attend our Consett Campus for meetings on a monthly basis.
This exciting and challenging post requires an energetic person who is flexible, resourceful and enthusiastic. Applicants must be well organised and occupationally competent and have recent relevant industrial experience along with relevant professional qualifications at Level 3 or above. They should also possess Assessor qualifications (e.g. A1 or D32/D33). Possession of the IV Verifier Award and experience of Internal Assessment processes would be advantageous, so would an ability to assess Care Management at Level 5.
The successful candidate will have up to date ICT skills and ideally should be familiar with using Skype and Office 365. Experience in using an e-portfolio based system would also be advantageous, as would the ability to track learners’ progress using appropriate on-line electronic documents.
